1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an expert profile on Ecommerce Nerds ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not list your services on our platform.

2. Expert Requirements

To maintain a profile on Ecommerce Nerds, experts must:

• Have demonstrable experience with Shopify development, design, or related services
• Provide accurate information about skills, experience, and pricing
• Maintain professional conduct in all client interactions
• Deliver work according to agreed-upon timelines and specifications
• Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner

3. Profile Information

You are responsible for ensuring all information in your profile is accurate and up-to-date. This includes:

• Professional experience and qualifications
• Portfolio and case studies
• Pricing and availability
• Service offerings and specializations

4. Commission Structure

Ecommerce Nerds operates on a commission-free model for clients. Experts may be subject to platform fees as outlined in our current fee schedule. We reserve the right to modify our fee structure with reasonable notice.

5. Client Relationships

Experts are independent contractors, not employees of Ecommerce Nerds. You are solely responsible for:

• Negotiating and documenting project terms with clients
• Delivering agreed-upon work
• Collecting payment from clients
• Paying applicable taxes on your earnings

6. Quality Standards

Experts are expected to maintain high-quality standards in their work. Repeated negative reviews or client complaints may result in profile suspension or removal from the platform.

7. Prohibited Conduct

Experts may not:

• Misrepresent skills, experience, or qualifications
• Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
• Solicit clients to work outside the platform to avoid fees
• Share confidential client information without permission
• Engage in discriminatory behavior

8. Reviews and Ratings

Client reviews are an important part of our platform. You may not:

• Request or incentivize fake reviews
• Retaliate against clients who leave negative reviews
• Manipulate the review system in any way

9. Intellectual Property

Ownership of work created for clients should be clearly defined in your agreements. You retain the right to showcase non-confidential work in your portfolio unless otherwise agreed with the client.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or remove your profile at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also request removal of your profile at any time.

11. Liability

Ecommerce Nerds is not liable for any disputes, losses, or damages arising from your engagements with clients. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims related to your services.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
